Our work in private gardens and commercial landscapes is shaped with care for both place and people. We share projects where naturalistic design is grounded in plant expertise, ecological awareness and a strong sense of spatial form.
With understanding of nature’s expressions, we create green spaces that interact with their surroundings.
Our Projects
Modern garden and planting design with historical roots
Structured naturalistic garden design
This garden is now complete at this beautiful 1912 property in central Västerås.
The design honors the character of the house while introducing a naturalistic yet structured planting style. A magnificent oak guided the layout — the planting around its roots blends meadow and garden, supporting both heritage and biodiversity.
Expandia’s New HQ
Ecological landscape design for a new headquarters
– Phase 1: pond for daywater management and planting
Expandia is building new headquarters, guided by nature and biodiversity. The new outdoor environment reflects the company’s sustainability ambitions – combining naturalistic planting, stormwater management and ecological values. This first phase includes the construction of a daywater pond and initial plantings. The project is ongoing, with further stages in development. Meanwhile, nature is making a comeback – offering food and shelter for birds and pollinators, and by the time of move-in, much of the vegetation has already begun to establish.
Sweeping Movement
Drought tolerant planting beneath a mature birch – private garden, Västerås
This design began with the site’s defining feature — a stunning, mature birch tree. The challenge was to create a planting scheme that not only tolerates these conditions, but thrives in harmony with the tree. Through careful plant selection, soil improvement, and structural planning, a composition was created with strong texture, rhythm, and seasonal variation. Preserved natural stones were integrated as accents, while a calm base of evergreens provides structure year-round
