'Gardens are artwork that escape the control of the maker.'

I recently read an article about a gardener in Morocco, Abderrazak Benchaâbane. One of his statements in this article was 'Gardens are artwork that escape the control of the maker', and this stuck with me deeply. We can design and plant a beautiful space, but without maintenance and care the artwork will be lost eventually.

Today most people are extremely busy and the thought of having also a garden to tend to is too much. Instead of seeing it as a chore, I hope to encourage people that the garden is not a chore, it is a space to give your busy mind some rest. While working the soil and tending to plants you keep your hands and mind busy from the stress you may experience from other things.

So I hope that with our future garden designs we will be able to provide you with the plans, tools and place that suits your needs. I hope that sometimes the garden calls for your care and labour, and afterwards, that you enjoy every second you find yourself soaking up all the energy that the garden will give you.
